StupidFox Contest EntryStupidFox
This article is about the animal. For information on the comic, see StupidFox.
The StupidFox (Vulpes bardus) is a small diurnal mammal found in the forests of the woodlands, and less commonly in the woods of the forestlands[1]. The average StupidFox lives up to 10 years and weighs between 12 and 15 pounds (5 to 7 kilograms). While its most distinctive features are its Carrot orange fur coat and long, bushy tail[2], the StupidFox proclaims that its most flattering qualities are its roguish charm and debonair good looks.[citation needed]
Like most species of fox, the StupidFox is not a pack animal.[3]

StupidFox: Trashy Birthdays August is one of the least desirable months, where summer begins to dwindle down into fall, despite the reoccurring heat. The sunlight beat down in the suburban area, the air still, providing little to no relief for the high temperature. However, StupidFox was unfazed by the heat, sitting in a trashcan, gathering up what he thought to be very suitable trash.
"What are you doing?" Raccoon asked, finding StupidFox in yet another one of his trashcans. Raccoon looked down at StupidFox from the top of the can, studying the dirt smeared on StupidFox's fur and the pieces of food or gum stuck to his pelt in a very degrading way.

StupidFox Vs Hamlet Essay
Stupid Fox is NOT Stupid
An Argumentative Comparison of *SilentReaper's Stupid Fox and Shakespeare's Hamlet: Prince of Denmark
Note: Hamlet is the character. Hamlet is the play. Stupid Fox is referred to as male for simplicity of language.
Shakespeare's Hamlet is widely regarded as the play by which all comparisons are made. Through the interplay of its characters and their relationships, Hamlet suggests that characters are merely products of their society. In a similar way, one can question; is Stupid Fox's apparent idiocy a mere reflection of our inability to understand his society? Through close analysis of *SilentReapers series of comi
LOGICAL NOTEWORTHY FINALISTS : STUPIDFOX

StupidFox Just who is StupidFox? With his carefree demeanor, silly antics and, more often than not, tongue hanging out, the average reader would view StupidFox, as the name implies, as stupid. However, StupidFox is not stupid. StupidFox's cute actions are a ploy and forces the reader falls into his devious trap of disillusion with each passing comic. In fact, it is obvious that StupidFox is a devout believer in Machiavelli. For those unfamiliar with Machiavelli, it is the belief that the "ends justify the means". Why is he Machiavellian? StupidFox has countless times has harmed or taken advantage of both his "friends" and others all in the name of se&

But here's the strange part- my entry did win something quite important!
Here's how:
It was Monday, and I had to go out and pick up some things. I took the car, in order to put miles on it for the stupid OBD2 computer- inspection was due this month.
Since I had entered and knew that the decisions had been made the day before, I was curious about who won and what had happened (if anything) to my entry. So, I stopped by a library, and fired up the computer there.
This is one of the computers that will not allow one to view messages, or to post any comments or replies. You cannot even view a gallery, or "Friends," so (assuming the DA search is working) the only way to view something is indirectly- since one's home page does come up along with newest deviations and favorites (four each), and my entry is the latest, I could simply click it, and then the link to SilentReaper's page.
I spent some time looking over all the entries, the winners, and trying to figure out how to post something. This all took considerable time there.
By the time I was finished, and returning home, I used a small scanner to test the car's diagnostic computer. Earlier, I had erased the codes in order to test a repair, but at least 60 miles has to be driven before everything clicks on. The light was off, and seven out of the eight monitors were active at that point, no codes.
It occurred to me, after some research, that a 1997 car is allowed two monitors to be 'off." So, to be sure, I turned around, and stopped by an inspection station. After all, one is better than two, the light was off, and there were zero codes.
The mechanic looked at the little scanner, and said yes, that part was o.k. It was near closing, but he decided to do an inspection then and there (aren't local mechanics among the best?) since that much was no problem.
It passed everything.
Now, there is a nice new sticker on the windshield!
And that is one less hassle to worry about- I did not want to go through another winter up here on the little motorcycle, when temperatures can drop below -40.
So, the timing was ideal- all because of an entry in a contest about StupidFox.
AND- it was fun to do!
