dA Love Contest (Entries Closed)

The portal for entries is closed, now we are in the judging stage.

What you must do: Create a piece that expresses your love for dA. You can target a specific aspect you like, for example Journals, Kiribans, Chat, Groups, etc. or you can just do something collective like a heart on the dA logo.
Your entry must clearly show what you like about dA. This means if people can't clearly tell that your entry is about dA love, then it will be rejected.

You submission MUST be neat. That means, if people are having a hard time figuring what it is or if it looks sloppy, it is not neat and is not fit for submitting. If you submit a sloppy piece, it will be rejected but you can resubmit it once you have cleaned it up.

Fair Exposure and miscategorization
On January 24th, 2012, we released an #hq journal regarding Popular results for Browse. In this journal, we described Fair Exposure -- deviantART's algorithm for Popular browse results. Fair Exposure's goal is to showcase the most popular deviations in a variety of styles, genres, and art forms, without bias towards a particular topic.
Since the release of our Fair Exposure announcement, especially in the last handful of weeks, we've noticed a concerted, dedicated effort made by deviants, or groups of deviants, to specifically beat (or "game") the system. Deviations have been intentionally miscategorized in hopes of having them appear "higher" in Popular results. This has, rightfully so, resulted in complaints from deviants who submit to deviantART in a fair and honest manner.

Hello and Bonjour!

Let me first say that I am terrible at writing about myself!

I'm a hobbyist photographer - at the moment I'm really into Abstract and Surreal, but I like all types of photography. My other artistic interests are editing my photos, photomanipulation, graphic design, typography, web design, and 3D art. Some of those I don't do very often, but I find them all pretty interesting!

The only web design work I've been doing lately has been creating journal skins on deviantART - I've never had the opportunity to put my actual web designs online, and so skins are the best way I can do that at the moment!
How did you first get into creating Journal Skins?
I'd always been interested in creating Journal skins, and I'd known CSS for quite some time before joining dA, but I didn't have the patience to learn how to use

Steins;Gate manga returns in Comic Blade magazineLong time since we've heard news, eh? Nothing yet about the movie, but there's still the manga to look forward to.
The official website for Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Blade magazine has announced that Taishi Tsutsui's (Esprit, Fukashigi Philia) Steins;Gate: Hiyoku Renri no Sweets Honey spinoff manga will return to the magazine in a new manga titled Steins;Gate: Hiyoku Renri no Sweets Honey Final.
The new series will premiere in the magazine's January 2013 issue shipping on November 30.
The tone of the series is slapstick comedy compared to the more serious overtones of the anime, but even the anime had its great funny moments

StupidFox will be at MCM Expo, London: Comic Convention --- MAY 25-27

This will be my first time exhibiting at a convention and it will also be my first time in Europe! ... I have no idea what I'm doing 8D ...

But if it were not for #FreshEpics and =Detail's help in organizing this, I don't think I would have ever considered attending any conventions this year.
