And that's the truth! O_O (Just making a statement :3 )
Lalala *rushrushrush* and yes, "MLE" is me, if you didn't already know that. I chose Near to be in this one because... he's very critical? I don't know. I just wanted to draw the stupid duck.
Anyway, I got the second part of the idea about Mello after being SPAMMED from the TV with commercials about buying chocolates and diamonds for v-day and how "YOU MUST BUY CHOCOLATES OR ELSE HE/SHE WILL HATE YOU FOR LIFE AND DUMP YOU ON VALENTINES DAY. YOU DON'T WANT THAT DO YOU?! THE GOVERNMENT WOULDN'T WANT THAT." I mean--- Well. You get the point. I hope. Unless you're in denial or something.
I'm one of those people who believe that Love is a stupid "emotion" basically caused by the chemicals in our bodies to tell us to mate and breed and make with the offpsring. Buuuut I guess, as humans, we all want to make it seem special and not have it portrayed just as an "animal instinct". I can rant all day about this. ANYWAY Enjoy your hallmark holiday! I'm going to enjoy my CHINESE NEW YEARS. You know, a holiday WITHOUT Hallmark influence. And you get free money
I'm done bashing. :3 I'd say have a good day but you probably hate me already XD
Umm... Hate to break it to you but "the government" didn't create Valentine's Day. It's a world wide holiday. Also, while it is true that couples showing Love should be, and mostly is, an everyday occurrence. The point of Valentine's (and other holidays) is as a reminder that we are to do it everyday. Humans are generally forgetful people (shut up, you know it's true) so we need these exaggerated holidays to remind us of these very important things. For example: if we stopped celebrating Mother's Day, wouldn't we (and don't we) kinda forget what our Moms have done for us? Or if we didn't celebrate Dec. 25 without a big celebration and presents, could we honestly say we could remember such a special occasion? Alright, end of counter-rant. Sorry for opposing you.
No, Matt, you're thinking of Sweetest Day.
