I was reading volume 3 when a friend of mine told me L will die later on in the story. For some reason, it didn't spoil anything for me, but I was really sad that he had to die. *sigh* But I did continue reading eventhough the story got a little boring for a while, but then Mello appeared! And Matt. :heart:

It would've been SO wonderful if L had gotten the chance to look at Raito after showing all the evidence and say "Yagami-kun, you are Kira." But instead, Near got to do that. *bawls*

The third last panel: And whaddaya know, Raito shows some signs of real, deeper thinking. Maybe he's not that hopeless after all. :+fav:
